The Pearl of Polish Economy 2009 goes to Zakłady Chemiczne Alwernia S.A.

“Polish Market” and the Polish Exporters’ Association granted its awards to Zakłady Chemiczne “Alwernia” S.A.
The Pearl of Polish Economy is an award given by the editorial board of the English-language economic magazine, “Polish Market”, consulted in terms of content with the Institute of Economics at the Polish Academy of Sciences. It is considered to present the most objective information about companies. The ranking, prepared by economists from IE PAS, focuses on the dynamics, effectiveness of operations and financial liquidity of companies. The awards are granted to businesses whose last year’s revenue exceeded PLN 100 million. In this year’s 7th edition, in which the title of the Pearl of Polish Economy in the category of Great Pearls was granted to Zakłady Chemiczne “Alwernia” S.A., 2000 candidates were assessed.
