The Environmental Protection Laboratory

The Environmental Protection Laboratory performs environmental monitoring contracts including analyses of industrial and household wastewaters and surface and underground waters; also, it conducts measurements of sound level, gas emission, and particulate emission to the environment.

In 2012, the Environmental Protection Laboratory and the ICP Laboratory implemented a Laboratory Management System compliant with the PN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-2 standard in the area of measurements of harmful and onerous factors at work stations and water and wastewater analyses. The basic objectives of our laboratory are to provide clients with services at the highest level, in accordance with good professional practice, continuous improvement of the management system, consistent operation and improvement of employees’ competence and their professional qualifications.
We employ qualified, aware, impartial and committed staff.
The laboratory has appropriate equipment and research methods that meet the client’s requirements. During our activities, we ensure impartiality, confidentiality of information and protect the property rights of all our clients.
We declare that:

  • we have the resources necessary to implement, maintain and improve the quality system,
  • we operate in a consistent, competent manner and we are able to obtain results relevant to the intended application,
  • we guarantee the validity of test results by using certified reference materials,
  • we carry out laboratory activities through the use of appropriate, documented procedures,
  • we confirm our competences through regular participation in proficiency tests and inter-laboratory comparisons,
  • we provide appropriate communication processes that guarantee the effectiveness of the management system and its improvement,
  • shaping the policy we assess the fulfillment of the requirements of laboratory clients, decision-making bodies and recognition organizations on an ongoing basis,
  • we plan and implement actions related to risks and opportunities, increasing the effectiveness of the management system, improving the results achieved and preventing negative effects,
  • we maintain the integrity of the management system when planning and implementing changes.
