Tradition

Company’s tradition dates back to 1923/1924 when a private chemical factory was established in Alwernia to create foundations for the Polish chemical industry.

The first installation to be constructed was a technological line for hydrochloric acid production followed by sodium bichromate plant.

After World War II, the factory was taken over by State. The name of the plant had been changed several times and the final wording of the Company’s name was established in 1978.
 

Significant development and extension of facilities dates back to 50s. The basic production profile, namely chromium compounds, has been maintained; however, new technologies, modern apparatus and equipment were implemented together with the construction of new production installations. The production yield and ranges of products have increased several times .

In the 60s, a new production profile – phosphorus compounds – was introduced.

In the 90s, the production using utilization of waste manufactured during chromium compound production was started. à  In the 90s, the production has started a manufacturing of waste that came  from chromium compound.

At present, we are developing a production of new product designed to be offered directly to the market.

During the period of its operation, the Company has mastered and improved its expertise in inorganic chemistry production processes.

Current Situation

“Alventa” SA is a chemical company recognized in the European market OF manufacturing products for domestic and international clients involved in different branches of industry.

Manufactured products are used, first of all in food and pharmaceutical industry, tannery, galvanizing industry, paint and enamel coating production.

During many years of its existence, applied technologies have been systematically improved. The offer of manufactured products was continuously extended. New products that had not been manufactured in Poland so far, e.g. thermal phosphoric acid, basic chromium sulphate,  chromic oxide green, phosphorus salts and phosphorus mixtures of food industry quality were introduced.

At present, “Alventa” S.A. specializes in three production profiles:

• phosphorus compounds,
• agricultural fertilizers,
• chromium compounds.

The quality and physical and chemical properties of our products have been in compliance with client’s preferences and requirements for several years.

In last years we introduced to the market new products:

• calcium nitrate,
• magniesium nitrate,
• potassium nitrate – MagPlon K,
• sodium nitrate,
• monopotassium phosphate.

At present, the most important, consistently implemented objectives include:

• eliminating side effects of Company’s environmental impact by technological process improvement, application of waste-free technologies, material recovery,
• achieving  the position of a stable and responsible supplier by ensuring high quality products, adjustment of product quality to clients’ requirements and production effectiveness improvement,
• consolidating current position on the market and gain new outlet.
