Food Safety Management System

Food safety requirements are all requirements that must be met and all actions that must be taken at all stages of production of or trade in food in order to ensure the health and protect the lives of people. In order to guarantee to our customers that the Company’s food additive substances, feed, and feed additives are safe to the health and lives of consumers, meet their quality expectations, and meet the requirements set forth in applicable laws, the Company’s Management Board decided to implement a Food Safety Management System.

First, as a part of the Quality Management System, the Company implemented a HACCP Management System and, in 2001, obtained a Certificate of its compliance with the Danish standard DS. 3027. Due to the withdrawal of the aforementioned standard, the Company implemented a Food Safety Management System compliant with the ISO 22000:2005 standard. In 2007, the FSMS underwent the first certification, which covered the process of production and sale of phosphorus compounds (permitted additional substances) for the food industry. In 2008, the scope of the certification was expanded by adding products for the feed industry.

On 6 June 2022 the Company obtained a Certificate of compliance with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 22000:2018-08 standard, that will be valid until 05 June 2025.

The ongoing analysis of hazards and monitoring of critical control points are systemic procedures intended to identify hazards and the risk of their occurrence at all stages of the process of food production and distribution. The FSMS, as a preventive system, makes it possible to minimize the risk of occurrence of hazards related to trade in food and protects the interests of consumers, thus giving them a sense of safety and high health quality of the food products that they purchase.

Scope of certification:

Production of phosphorus compounds for the food and feed industries.
