Management Systems

The Polish industry is becoming more and more integrated with the global economy. This requires compliance with international standards applicable to production, trade, and distribution of products and services.

In order to meet the ever-stricter requirements, expectations, and needs of its current and potential customers and other stakeholders of the Company, “Alventa” S.A. has implemented and certified and is maintaining and constantly improving the following Integrated Management Systems:

  • Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 standard
  • Environmental Management System compliant with the ISO 14001 standard
  • Food Safety Management System compliant with the ISO 22000 standard

Systemic activities, conducted in accordance with standardized rules, enable effective use of resources to satisfy the needs of the Company’s customers, employees, and surroundings, especially by compliance with applicable laws, supervision over processes performed, and prevention or reduction to a minimum of negative environmental impact.

Management systems are not just something that is currently in fashion but are a condition of competitiveness because more and more companies look for suppliers and business partners only among companies that have implemented and certified management systems.

Due to the need to constantly improve the quality of its products, in 1995 the Management Board of the Company decided to implement a Quality Management System. The implementation ended on 11 May 1998 when the Company received a Certificate of compliance with the ISO 9002:1994 standard and in 2003, the system was recertified for compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

One year after the first certification of the QMS, implementation of the requirements of the ISO 14001:1996 standard was completed and on 30 December 1999 the Company received a Certificate for the Environmental Management System.

The date of the first certification of the HACCP Management System for compliance with the Danish standard DS.3027 is 25 July 2001.

After that standard was withdrawn, the Company implemented the requirements of the ISO 22000:2005 standard and in 2007 it obtained the Certificate for the Food Safety Management System.

Certificates for individual Management Systems have been continuously maintained since the dates of their first certifications.

From the very beginning, supervision over the maintenance and the improvement of the Management Systems in the Company has been performed by the Certifying Company – Bureau Veritas Quality International (currently Bureau Veritas). Since 2016, certification of and supervision over the Integrated Management Systems in the Company has been performed by Polskie Centrum Badań i Certyfikacji S.A.

During external and internal audits, the usefulness, adequacy, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the management systems are checked and evaluated. By maintaining the continuity of the certificates issued by an independent certification body in compliance with the latest editions of the relevant standards, the company guarantees the highest standards in all aspects of its operations.

Certificates of the IQNet International Certification Network ensure that the highest standards of the services provided by “Alventa” S.A. are recognized worldwide.
